2.7 liter Metal Oil Pan ? Anyone have the new factory metal pan

Have a 24 Silverado, 2.7 liter motor. Build date 1/24. Does anyone have the new metal oil pan installed from the factory yet ?

...do you not?  Production changed in 2023, early 2023s have the plastic, late 2023+up have the aluminum.  

 

I've not seen a single 2024 with a plastic pan on them.

Not necessarily. Many of those aluminum oil pan engines may have been allocated to the Colorado/Canyon twins. There's owners over on ColoradoFans.com that have the metal oil pan.

I'm pulling from the GM EPC.  2024s call out aluminum pan.  2023 there is 1st design and 2nd design, first being plastic pan, second being aluminum.

Just wanted to clarify too it appears to be a stamped aluminum lower pan per the description on the pan, not a stamped steel pan.  Could be cast aluminum too?
