Happy to assist.

If you bought the top level (Platinum?) coverage it does cover a lot, but not as much as the factory 3/36.  Depending on what you paid it may be worth the peace of mind.

I'm currently shopping for myself and the best price I've found so far is $3,209.  That's for the top coverage for 8 years, 100,000 miles, zero deductible.  There are many time/mileage/deductible options.  Haven't decided yet what I'm going to do but I'm leaning toward not getting the extended warranty...

When I know a little more on what we actually purchased I will let you know . Hopefully look into it this weekend .

Please keep an eye out here .

Thanks

#1  Chevrolet Protection Plan is the extended warranty

Since I live South of the border I'm used to thinking in miles.  I'm going to need my calculator.

If I'm converting properly, 100,000 Kilometers = a little over 62,000 miles.  So 7 years or 62,000 miles.  If you don't drive a lot you could be covered for 7 years.  I drive roughly 12,000 miles (19,312 kilometers) per year so that warranty would only last me a bit over 5 years.  So not great for me but could be good for you.

You should have a contract that looks like this:  https://www.chevrolet.com/content/dam/chevrolet/na/us/english/index/owners/warranty/06-pdfs/CHVSC_230524_SAMPLE.pdf

It lists everything that is covered and what isn't.

#2  Chevrolet Pre-Paid Maintenance basically means you paid up front for a specific number of oil and oil filter changes and tire rotations.

I do my own maintenance so I haven't read the specifics of this plan.  I was able to find a sample contract.  You should have been given a contract that looks like this:  https://www.chevrolet.com/content/dam/chevrolet/na/us/english/index/owners/warranty/02-pdfs/chevrolet-pre-paid-maintenance-sample-contracts-2-10-2022.pdf

It should say how many oil changes you paid for.

If it were me, and I was only driving about 14,000 kilometers per year, I would change the oil twice per year.  So if you bought a 7 year (84 month) plan I would think your contract would be for about 14 oil changes.

I included links to sample contracts for reference but I highly recommend reading the contracts you were given carefully and make sure they will work well for you.

Now for my fine print;  I can't guarantee my conversions are correct.  Everything here is opinion and should be treated as such.  I do not claim to be a professional (anything) nor do I claim to be intelligent.
