Upfitter foil tape

Does anyone know if the foil on the upfitter harness is anything special? Would HVAC aluminum tape wrapped around a wire loom be sufficient to run wiring across the rear of the engine similar to the upfitter harness? I have some Nashua aluminum tape that is rated for -25*F to 325*F. It is listed as cold weather foil tape. Thanks for any insight.
