5.3L Gas vs 3.0L Diesel Towing Capacity

What is the difference in towing capacity of the 5.3L Gas vs 3.0L Diesel, in the standard configuration, without the max trailering package? My 3.0L (LZ0) shows 8800lb for conventional trailer on the drivers side bottom door panel, thought it would be a little more than that, just curious what the 5.3L is rated at with the same configuration.

8800lbs with the 3.0 so that would be a crew cab short box 4x4.  That same cab/4x4 with the 5.3 is 9200lbs.  

 

In Chevy land, the 3.0 crew short 4x4 is 9000lbs, 5.3 is 9300lbs.
