Plastic Skid Plates

Recommended Posts

Hey, looking for a consensus on how useful these plastic skid plates on the trucks are, and if anyone takes them off.  (The 2 piece go on the front end and are under the radiator and engine.)

No harm no foul - i get that, but i took them off to do undercoating and i found that they act like a diaper and catch spilled oil from my oil changes.  Who knows if they would catch a real leak and let it go undetected.  Even have a honeycomb mold that seems perfect for holding fluids.

What do you guys think?
