Grill guard 2500 HD Crew cab- Westin

Disappointed in guard performance. Had low speed impact with Chevy Colorado recently. The guard had enough flex to rock back and dent my hood. Manufacturer said it was t designed for low speed impacts.

What is "low" speed? I assumed they would stand up to pushing a stubborn cow. But not a deer at 45mph

When I had a guard like that on an SUV 20 years ago it was marketed as a “brush guard.”

Well I suppose if its marketed as a Grill Guard, it did in fact guard the grill......
