GM 13540028 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module

Recommended Posts

@gypsy1962  I dropped off a part 13537053 with the Auto Shop that has my truck Monday afternoon, but I have not heard back from them yet.  Their parking lot is packed every day, so I know a shot in the dark is not their #1 priority.

I got my truck back today and part 13537053 seems to have worked.  I just got it back and so far no issue. I asked if the part needed to be programmed or anything and they said no, they just plugged it in and it worked.  For others in a similar situation, the original part on the truck was 13531875.

Just so that people are aware, there are MANY electronics repair companies out there that will test and repair circuit boards regardless of what it is. Northbridge Fix is one I know of off hand. Failures like this tend to be due to corrosion or capacitors failing.

@GregBFL, Are you still in need of the fuel pump driver control module?

Yes, I still need the part. I've been calling GM and according to them they're working on it but I suspect there are thousands needed across the country so no telling when I will get the part. Why isn't the dealer or GM Customer Service telling us about this alternative... If you still have an extra I will purchase it from you.

Joining into the unfortunate party. I have a 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 42k miles so just out of warrantly. Stalled on me at a gas station. Told it is the fuel pump module. National backorder. No eta. Luckily the drive train warranty covers it. I can't believe these issues on new vehicles. It's insane to me.

Luckily I still have my 09 f150 to get me around. 180k miles and has never left me stranded anywhere.

I'm sorry I made the switch from Ford to GM right about now

Anyone gotten their parts recently? If so, how long did it take?

I want to thank @gypsy1962 for all his help. He contacted me and offered to sell me the latest version of the GM 13558812 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module at cost. I've been down for almost a month and there are 8 trucks ahead of me at my dealership and one has been waiting since early November 2023. There is no telling how long I would have been waiting. Oh and the best part is it turns out he lives roughly an hour from me so I was able to pick it up the same day.

I took it to my dealership that afternoon and they called me a little after 9 am the following morning to come and pick my truck up. So far it's been running perfectly so if your truck has Fuel Pump Driver Control Module GM 13540028 and can find a GM 13558812, grab it because it woks. gypsy1962, thanks again for all your help and I really enjoyed meeting you an your wife.

Sierra2020. Did you find a part? I finally resolved the issue in mine with a new part. I have an extra *new* replacement part number part for anyone that needs.

Brand new, unopened , Authentic GM 13558812 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module received directly from GM for anyone with a need for this module.

Do you still have this part? I would definitely take it. I’m so tired of waiting. Brand new truck that doesn’t work
