2020 GMC Sierra infotainment problem

Recommended Posts

My 2020 GMc sierra keeps searching for my phone to charge. The phone icon keeps blinking the little green connection sign and it seems to be killing my battery. I brought it to the dealership and they had to reprogram the truck. That worked for about 2 weeks and now yesterday it started back again. They also changed my battery while at the shop.

Sometimes resetting the infotainment system to its factory settings can do the trick.
Also, if you can, try connecting a different phone to the system to see if it's still acting up. That way, you can figure out if the problem is with your phone or the car's system.

So, I got into the shop again and they ended up replacing the theft deterrent module. So far this seems like it resolved the problem
