You have a Denali. Stick with the MagnaRide. They are the best shock out there for the K2 trucks.  I had three K2 GMC SLT's and the stock Ranchos SUCK compared to this 2018 Denali with MagnaRide. No comparison

They are of no good when they start leaking especially considering the truck is only driven just over 80K Miles.

Any shock is going to be NO GOOD if they leak.....my dad was a mechanic for years. I have seen all types of shocks leak at lesser miles then that. Stuff breaks through wear and tear! Doesn't mean the next set will do the same.

Ofcourse, stuff breaks, never said it doesn't. I am just dissappointed compared to my other cars this truck is much more sensitive.

I was asking about 5100s because I know MagnaRide even if replaced will leak again and they are not cheap by any means. For the price of corner you can get whole set of 5100s.

So this has nothing to do with the MagnaRide, but everything to do with COST and the expense of a shock that is used in a LUXURY truck and high end sports cars!!

Again, any shock will eventually leak, not just a MagnaRide.  You might have just gotten a bad set??  You couldn't pay me to go to a Rancho, or even Bilstein compared to a MagnaRide. There is a reason why these shocks are used on Corvettes and Camaro's!!!  Not a Bilstein, Rancho, or Monroe, ect....

But, hey, you seem to have your mind set on Bilsteins, go for it, I am just giving you my personal experience with four types of K2 trucks.....these MagnaRides are unlike any shock out there....hence the expense...pay for LUXURY with the Denali nameplate.

It's not about the cost. I know eventually others will leak as well as I have seen on the forums they are not the most reliable.

I was considering 5100s for the time being until I will switch over to Kings eventually towards the end of the year.

Hello! Which Bilsteins did you go with?

Hey Abdullah Amir!

I ended up going with Bilstein 4600, but I would have absolutely been pleased with the 5100s as well.

The only reason I went with the 4600 series is because I 100% intended to keep my truck at the stock height (which is what they are limited to) and they were cheaper. 5100s are a little bit more heavy duty and people gravitate towards them since they give you the option to adjust the height if anyone ever decides to in the future. However, you can run them on a stock truck and, with all honesty, they both are pretty similar internally and I can barely tell a difference in the ride quality between them.

Hope this helps!

No, I went from stock to the Bilstein 5100s on a 3" lift  all around and a 1.5" rear spring lift, 1.5" body lift and a 1" lift with the front Bistein 5100s.

This fits on stock height without leveling?

No, see my earlier post above.
