I brought my 2022 1500 LTD LT Trail Boss to the dealer on Jan 11/24 for service and smell of exhaust in the cab. They need to replace the exhaust manifold. I have now been waiting over a month for the part and dealer has no update. Anyone have an idea of how long this will take?

No. No idea. Parts availability has been very poor. Especially after COVID. The problem is even worse in Canada.

Tell em the smell in the cab is making your wife and young children sick they can pull one off something else and replace it later send it in email to the service dept.Mgr and CC GM themselves.

Or drop a couple hundred and have an Atty. write it up for you
These trucks have more BS these past few years than ANY time in the past 40 years that I have been driving.

All the electronics, BS pollotion crap and cheap assed suppliers add up to rigs that just aren't as dependable as they were or should be esp for the $$ they charge.

My apologies for not seeing your reply earlier. I will definitely be sending something. It’s been almost 3 months which is unacceptable.  I had called gm customer service, and I’m sure you know they’re super helpful and care, NOT. I’ll send an email and see if anything comes up. I’ve also been told gm is now telling the dealers if the customer brings their vehicle in for warranty work and part is back ordered and the part shows up after the warranty expires, you might be on the hook for the cost. I heard some other stuff and I believe gm is out to short change the  customer as much as they can. Seems their new way of doing business is do less and charge more! if anyone can confirm any of this please let us know, as I’d prefer the facts.

Cheers,

Mike
