Cruise control is not working.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!! Here is Korea.

First, I'm sorry about my poor English.

I have a problem with my 2023 Sierra1500 denali 6.2.

The C.C has not been working since yesterday. A.C.C neither of course.

When I press the cruise button, the instrument's icon is not displayed.

(As a message, switching to ACC or NCC works If I hold the button.)

Nevertherless, there is no warning messages from the truck.

That's what happened after using HDC(hill decent control) yesterday.

GM Korea lacks maintenance knowledge of Taho and Sierra. Because the sales period is short and the sales volume is low.

So please help me if you have any advice for me.

Thanks!!

I noticed the issue popped up after messing around with HDC. There could be a connection there. First off, I'd say check the onboard diagnostics in your vehicle for any stored fault codes. It could give you some useful info on what's going wrong. Since there are no warning messages, it might be a hiccup with the control module or some sensor. A good trick is to do a full system reset by unplugging the battery for a few minutes. That usually sorts out electronic glitches.

If the problem sticks around, it's worth taking a look at the fuse and relay for the cruise control system. A glitch there might be causing the trouble.
