Delete Tune??? 2024?

Recommended Posts

So I have a brand new 2024 AT4 with the L5P. a long story short rather than replace the DPF filter which is expensive, I am going to delete. I have all of the parts but I am lacking the tune. is there anyone out there that can help me out or point me in the right direction? has anyone done this yet? I just need the tune.

I fully understand the motivation to clean up the engine, but be careful they are clamping down on Smokers here in Georgia. Also note that your voiding your warranty. Any engine transmission problems are all yours and parts are deathly expensive.

What is the reason your dumping the filter? more power? there are other options which won't void warranty.

1-800-ILLEGAL.

You could also try this number, 202-564-6620 its the main directory for the EPA, I'm sure they'd be glad to assist you in your tuning needs.

I know people who have deleted higher mileage diesel’s because of the cost of fixing that junk. As far as more smoke that isn’t necessarily a by product of deleting. Diesel trucks these days perform really well without additional performance mods. I’ve done all the modifications over the years mostly using banks equipment. Usually it’s the cost of the additional devices to ( clean) the exhaust that drives the deleting. If you ever been behind a diesel that’s going through its cycle you probably think. O man that can’t be healthy. Diesel longevity has been ruined by all the pollution devices. I can’t blame people who try to get more out of them without going broke keeping them going. I would venture to say most people use them because they have to. Usually it’s the people who are trying to make a living with them. Usually it’s our we’re only doing this for your own good government. That makes it hard for the working people to get by. Because of regulations.

I just asked Stevie Wonder and he said even he saw this thread going sideways. A loaded question on a first post, that wasnt the least bit suspicious.
