Looking for a powered circuit during remote start

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

First wanted to thank everyone for the many posts that have helped me over the years, but I can't find an answer to this one.  I have even spoken to the Upfitter line and they gave some suggestions that have not helped.

I am looking for a circuit or power source that is active during ACC, RUN and Remote Start.  I have a 2020 Silverado 2500HD that is an emergency vehicle outfitted with a Whelen CORE light-siren system and a Kenwood TK5110 radio.  I need to have the ignition sense powered, (3 AMPS) so the equipment goes into "Sleep" when not active.  I have a source now that works when the truck is running, but I want it to power up the equipment when remote started also so the perimeter lights come on while I am headed to it in the dark.  The lighting is all programmed to function but the ignition sense needs power to wake it up.

Any ideas where I can tap power for the remote start also?

As you can see, everything is battery wired and relayed with a timer and solenoid fused at the battery and each device connection.  I just need the proper trip to initiate the timer/solenoid.
