Trucking shutting off/resetting, steering wheel jerking.

Recommended Posts

Hi there, struggling and don't want to take it to the dealer smh.

I have a 2016 Sierra that's trying to kill me. First happened when "trying" to pull in a parking spot. The truck instantly shut off and the wheel jerked to the opposite side I was steering. Have noticed when tapping the brake, all the lights flicker and the truck tries to reset. When it does it bad, the clock and compass all reset.

I think You have a bad ground issue. Several videos on YouTube addressing this issue. Undo & clean the grounds, under driver side rail & under hood firewall, & possibly the ground under dash on drivers side. Add some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. This is tge 1st simple thing to see if it fixes your problem.
