No idea where to post this... rear seat question

Okay I'm thinking about swapping the driver side rear seat in my '03 2500HD CC with another passenger side rear seat. Only problem is I have NO freaking idea where to source another passenger seat. Does any one have any suggestions?

 

The reason for this is that I want to add a custom console / sub enclosure in the rear. I haven't checked the rail mounting locations yet, but I think it will work out.

 

Suggestions?

It's G&R Auto in OK, they have a buttload of stuff for these trucks. Pretty much all they have is GM.

 

There is another one: Del City Pick-up Parts, that doesn't have a website, but all they carry is salvage stuff from GM trucks. I'll have their number at home...If you need it, PM me later, and I'll dig it up.

Yeah getting a color / material match is gonna be tough at a salvage yard, but it might work out. I'm patient for the most part.

 

I hadn't considered the rear buckets from a Suburban, but now that I think about it I wonder if there is enough space behind the seats. I bet they contact the rear wall. Maybe not though... I'll have to do some measuring.

Setup a search agent on ebay.

 

I found perfectly matched 3rd seat for my suburban there.

 

I also had a choice of used or new. It's amazing whats available. It just takes a little time for the right item to appear, but eventually it does.

 

My next search is for a set of heated front seats since heat was not an option on the '96.
