Rubber door/window seal

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find a part # or link to buy replacement weather strips for the doors. It’s where the window meets the door (rubber).

I found a couple Y tube links but most broke the clips when removing the whole chrome trim piece

I would like to replace the rubber only if possible.
Any direction to get these replaced is much appreciated.

thanks!

Here's a link to the rear door exterior "Window Belt Reveal Molding" BUT it's for my Double Door. You would need the "Full size Cab door". It appears that they do not list the rubber by itself. Maybe some on else can give a better link. It might be a starting point on your search.  Good luck.

Here's a good video on removal. Again, good luck.

You just have to go further down in the main page for them to get to the crew cab parts. The first several listed are for double cab but further down you will find the crew cab ones and then get part numbers you need...

Thank you for the direction on this.  For the driver side front only $63 and for the drivers side rear $120. Interseting they look so similar but one is twice the price. I may wait until they have an agent on duty to verify the pricing but this looks so easy to replace. I was really hoping to replace the rubber only but I dont see that as an option.

Does $200 for both doors on the drivers side sound about right? I understand the crew cab may be more $$ than the double.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Merry Christmas!

Do a search for you part number to find the best price. I just posted the first site I have book marked to find the P/N. I'm sure you can find a better price out there.

That's actually not a bad price from that site. But you need to pay attention to shipping costs and that's where they get you. Some will offer free shipping if you order over a certain price.

Another option once you get the part numbers you need is to order direct from Chevrolet. https://parts.chevrolet.com

Once you pick a dealership to order from, the price is usually under MSRP as well. They also give you the option to have your parts shipped to a local dealership and then the shipping is free. They also have discount codes depending again on how much you order, from 10%, 15%, and 20% off. The codes are right on the Chevrolet site.

So like I mentioned, compare the cost and shipping charges on several sites but then compare the price with free shipping from Chevrolet...
