Best Deals on 2024

I'm in the market, leaning towards a 2024 AT4 with 3.0 and wondering who's got the best deals? I love my GMC's but dang Ram in New Orleans is offering almost 20k of sticker price, which seems pretty enticing. Anyone seeing any great 2024 discounts on GMC's?

No such thing as a deal here in Canada. Not sure where you're located but up here they'll take you for everything you've got....lol. Absolutely criminal.

$20K off sticker?

Sorry but I seriously doubt that is the end of the story......

A lot of dealers pull that BS as an enticement, then add back on a ton of fees normal dealers would not add back on.

Just sayin.....I'd like to see the bottom line of $20K off sticker before tax/license.......and without a trade involved, before I was a believer.

Yeah I call BS on that too. Take a $65,000 truck and there going to sell it for $45,000 naaa I don't think so. Or there jacking up the price $15,000 then giving you $20,000 off so you're really getting $5000 off. Sorry but I don't believe it at all.

The biggest issue with 20k off on a Ram is that you end up with a Ram. (sorry, had to say it)

Don't be too sure about that. While every 'offer' needs to be fully vetted, I have gotten some pretty ridiculous deals on a number of vehicles over the years. I would have never typically bought a vehicle for only $5K off, but got myself into a jam.

In Minneapolis GMC is currently advertising $4000.00 off MSRP on pickups with the High Output Turbo 4cyl and $2000.00 trade assistance for current GMC owners. Don't know what you have to trade but if want a GMC you are gonna have to pay up and if you want the diesel forget about the rebate. This ain't no Ram.

Hence why I haven't bought it. Sweet deal no doubt, I've got an a firm 16k off offer on the Ram that lists for 81k (ridiculous). Really want the AT4 so shopping hard, I've found some pretty good offers just bartering now.

There are some fairly recent videos on the Tube where they show RAM's of all flavors being marked up pretty badly, added $15k Market price adjustments etc. I can't validate that as I have never looked myself on a RAM lot.

As far as GMC goes. There are deals to be had on certain models, trims and driveline specifications. My 23 was heavily incentivized, Both dealer and GM/Vender incentives. and almost $20k total off if including that absolutely absurd market adjustment BS addition that surely no one is paying in today's environment. I even laughed when the dealer still had the Market Adjustment add on still glued up on the rear window.

You may get some dealer kick backs on a AT4 but the 3.0's are generally still in quite high demand, at least in my neck of the woods anyway.

Gone are the good old days in terms of zero percent financing. Dealers are certainly not moving many $75k rigs at 7% + Interest. Rates will continue to drive incentivized products

Again....show me the bottom line, the price you as a customer pay before taxes and license!

No trades either......major games are played with trades.

It's a big advertising gimmick that suckers the unknowing into the dealership then gets them so excited they pay whatever the price is. Add back on fees, market adjustment, fluff packages like service plan agreements, rust proofing, or some miraculious miracle paint coating.

You will never get $20K off sticker bottom line deal on a $70K truck.......think about it!

This is a common scam!!! They will yeah we serious ,and yes we got the truck ,sure give us a down payment and it’s yours. You get there and lo and behold ,somehow that truck is gone but they will apply this to another truck no where near the discount. They are holding your money. And you traveled all that way. Don’t want it then they ignore you. Let me guess they will want 5-10 percent down to hold it for you.

Take that dealership and do a google search for reviews for that dealership and read. You will see what I mean. A perfect example will be friendly Chevrolet in Dallas ,Texas. . Good luck!

There's a lot of stuff showing up more recently where dealers are taking every possible incentive that is available on a vehicle purchase and showing them all together for a collective 'discount' amount. The problem is that they all exist, but literally NO ONE would be able to qualify for all of them. You have to look at the details to understand how they are reaching that number and then start backing out the stuff that doesn't apply.

In Houston they are offering 9k off MSRP. A few other dealerships are throwing in "free lifts, wheels, and tires" when the truck is purchased at MSRP. My father purchased a 2023 LT a few months back for 8K off MSRP at 1.9% here in Houston with no add-ons, BS discounts, or hidden fees. We don't do trade-ins, leases, etc. but I doubt that makes a difference to be honest. The last 9 months have seen truck prices drop significantly in our area, and honest deals can be had if you have good credit and are patient.

On a side note, inventory lots are BACKED up right now in Houston. The dealers tried to keep people believing that inventory is thin in hopes of keeping prices elevated, but that didn't last long and now they have excess inventory and are doing a lot to make a sale. The next 6 months should be a good time to get a deal for those of us who are patient and willing to purchase a 2023 model instead of a 2024.

I just got KBB high book value for my trade, Did the first offer from them come in that high?? Absolutely not but eventually they paid what according to KBB they should have. But any discussion on trade took place after the new vehicle price was agreed.

$20K is excessive. but pretty sure I am not the only one who has had pretty decent luck with incentives, my 21 had a sticker of $56.5k - I ended up getting $8k off, $1k GM accessory cash and 0% financing on a 3-year term.
