Power Window Conundrum

Recommended Posts

Preface:

All of the power windows in my truck operate at each door respectively, meaning the passenger side door window switch will raise and lower the passenger side window, and the right rear door window switch will operate the right rear door window, etc., etc.  About a month ago, I remotely lowered my windows in the truck to let the interior cool down before the drive home, but when I went out to my truck and started it a few minutes later I couldn't raise any of the windows, other then the driver's door window, with my driver's door power window switches.  I could raise and lower the driver's front window through the driver's power window switch, but I had to go to each other door individually to raise the window respective to that door.  Being dark, I noticed that the power window switches on the driver's door, as well as the side mirror adjustment switches which no longer worked either, were no longer illuminated.  My first thought was "ok, so its lost power somehow, but if the power window switches in the driver's door lost power, then how am I still able to raise and lower the driver's side front window?".  I checked for blown fuses and found none, so I purchased a new driver's side power window switch cluster and installed it, resulting in no change.  Again, I can lower and raise the driver's window from the driver's door switch cluster, but that's it, I cant even adjust the side mirrors.  All the other windows work perfectly fine from their individual door switches.  I'm at a loss, and I'm wondering if there is a relay I'm missing, or something?

Does anybody have any insight on why all of my power windows work at each door, but why I cant operate them from the driver's door?  Any relays that I might be missing?  What's the likelihood of a bad BCM?   Any suggestions on how to test the system?
