Oil pressure 80psi after oil change

Thanks for the response!

Presently, I have it ripped down to oil pump. I am going out to buy one today.

I have one last question, perhaps you know:

There is a vvt solenoid I would like to replace while I am in there, but I am a little nervous. It's one bolt removal, but I have no torque data. It looks simple, but then simple can be misleading.

I can't find info for a re/re on this??

Bentley, I didn’t change the one on the Silverado I was working on. But it should just removing the one bolt. You’ll have to remove the harmonic balancer. That can be a pain. I had to buy the big dewalt impact gun to get the bolt loose. And then pulling it off is hard to it is pressed in by the bolt when assembled. Which is how you’ll need to reinstall it. But use a new bolt when re-installing. Sorry this is more about the balancer than the valve. That’s just going to be your hardest part. If you need more help just let me know. I’ll help anyway I can.
