I added the set of numbers twice and it doesn’t move from 0 for me on my 6spd truck.

No, I added the SG III to my 2024 2500HD. I no longer have the 2018.

I have about 1500 miles towing my fifth wheel with the SG3. I wouldn't tow heavy without it. I put it in Low and scroll up to 8 to keep the trans out of the 2 highest OD gears. I really like knowing what gear I am in. It helps if you're really trying to maximize mpg. I also noticed my intake air temp and ambient temp were always within a couple degrees of each other. Good job on that setup GM. 

I did notice that the oil temp runs higher than coolant temp. Usually by 15 degrees or so when towing. I guess it pays to run good oil. More validation for a good maintenance program.
