Steering issue 18 Silverado 1500

Recommended Posts

I have a 2018 1500 ltz just replaced my shocks with bilstein 5100 added a 2.5 leveling block with a new bent upper control arm and added a helper spring in the rear that lifted it 1inch but ever since I did that my steering has bin feeling wear aligned it twice and still feels weard like it’ll be straight but feeling like I’m fighting it to stay straight then all of a sudden it’ll go away without doing anything without turning more any one have any ideas?

Either the alignment is way off, or, the extreme angles placed by a 2.5" level is putting the steering rack and tie rods past their limit and you aren't going to remedy that without taking the level out or going down to a 2".

Also...WTF is a "new bent upper control arm"?  Bent as in damaged?
