I have bought my truck brand new. Not long after I notice a whistling/ rubbing sound. Pretty faint but I can hear it.

It is fairly consistent. In between 20 and 80 km/h in 2wd. As soon as I switch to 4wd it goes away. When I switch back to 2wd it will gradually come back. Sounds like it is in the front end. I now have about 80 k on the truck. Anyone else have an issue like this? Any idea what it is?

I had this in my 2019 1500. Mostly in hot temperatures after driving on the highway for about 20-30 minutes. Enough to drive you crazy. Documented it with my dealer over the course of two years or so while GM researched the complaint. Finally they had a TSB to fix it in Feb 2022. I think I have one of the first ones to have it done, as I did it RIGHT when the TSB came out, and completely solved the problem. Link below.
