Rv with Solar and trailer brakes failing

I just picked up a Keystone fifth wheel, my trailer connected, all lights good to go. trailer brakes gain set, but no manual squeeze input and no percentage on the dash when driving. i read that disconnecting the solar while driving may alleviate the discrepancy in the system. Will update soon with disconnect and regular 7pin plugged in.
