I have a 2020 Rst 6.2 that is out of factory warranty. So time to go wild. Goes to GPI in November for some motor work and tuning. I have read it and it was confirmed today by the dyno shop that they will not dyno to its capacity due to drive shaft chances exploding increases and has happened. Anyway has anyone here replaced their rear drive shaft with a more capable shaft and where to purchase.

Any local place could make a 3in steel driveshaft that can handle 130-140+ mph speeds. They just need to know the correct size to make it.

Tons of guys on more performance based forums have upgraded their driveshafts to prevent issues above 100mph.

GM offers an accessory steel driveshaft to replace the factory aluminum one. They say it's for better clearance off roading, but I would bet it also has better power handling than the aluminum.
