2024 2500HD ZR2s

Recommended Posts

Sick ass truck

I had a multi pro tailgate on a gmc and every truck since I haven't been able to find one on a chevy that I wanted.....I loved that tailgate as well.....I even bought a H.C.but didn't have one

Its not a easy swap I've heard....it will fit but getting to function properly is tricky

Hard to tell exactly but yea there is more bolstering to the seats.  The cushions are different part #s from the other seats in all the other trims.  To me from the last ZR2 we had on the lot, they had a good bit more bolstering to them but also felt less stiff compared to the standard seats.

you sir are correct!

saw the truck today and sat in it! The seats are definitely softer and have the slighter larger bolsters.

the softer padding was a much appreciated upgrade!

That’s super  clean could you take a measurement. From the ground to the bottom of the fender trim. Curious how much taller the truck is compared to say a leveled 2500hd.

I see they got rid of the rear forward mud flap and shortened it up some that looks good and the wider plastic fender trim hope that’s available from gm soon.

1.5 in suspension lift front and rear plus the delta in tire size.

Was looking around on this.  The front end.  I see a lot of the components are the same part #s as a non ZR2, and 4 items that are different.  Diff mounts, knuckles, all 4 control arms and obviously the shocks.  So looks like the lift comes from knuckles and essentially a front differential drop, and then revised geometry control arms?

Yea I was wondering if they used the knuckle to raise the truck. Instead of torsion indexed keys.

Though that was their idea .

I was plotting a possible parts grab when 2024 OEM stuff becomes available.

i was already planning to grab 2024 headlights and grille bumper swap aka face lift.

Though the raised knuckles might pare well with my cognito torsion bars and Fox dsc shocks.

Currently at 42.5 at bottom of the fender on 35x11.5 be nice to get that from a knuckle and bring my soft torsion bars down even more.

But then again GMparts might want a ridiculous amount for those knuckles.
