Experienced the transmission shudder and had the tranny fluid changed in early Dec '23 with 43k miles. It rode like a dream for about 1,000 miles but is back to it's old trick. Just talked to dealership who said my Powertrain Warranty expired two weeks ago and it needs a torque converter for a truck that has 45,000 miles.  I am so f'ing mad I promise you I will never buy another Chevy and do everything in my power save my friends from a similar nightmare. Did I mention it was a $66,000 truck in 2019 and this is what I get...Has anyone had any success appealing to GM customer relations on this issue?

Just got mine back from the dealership. Took it in for the first oil change at 3300 miles. I reported shuddering @ 3500 rpm on hard acceleration. I had to leave the truck so the trans tech drove it 14 miles without me in the truck. He checked for codes, fluid level, leaks etc. He could find no problem or it didn't act up for him on his road test. I think he was thorough in his inspection however he could not verify my complaint. This issue has not been resolved and I will persevere until it is corrected.  I now have the issue reported/ documented.

I’m really considering not buying another GM truck. Parents Acadia engine went out, wife’s Yukon transmission went coming back from cali last August in Az costing over $10K.

I’ve had my transmission cooler line replaced, passenger side lifters replaced, my transmission triple flush with reprogram transmission module.

My ‘19 TB is my first truck, so I’m considering other options out there. Just need to do some test driving before my powertrain warranty goes out March ‘25.

I just made a post regarding my transmission issues...

In the prior 2-3 weeks I had been noticing this same shudder a lot of you had mentioned.

I didn't know of this new and improved fluid. I also heard that there was a redesigned gear or something for the 10 speed GM had done after issues with backorder delays...?
