Aftermarket tow mirror folding out past "stops"

So we bought our truck (2015 Silverado 1500 LTZ), then less than a month later bought our camper and it became apparent very quick that the stock mirrors weren't gonna cut it.

now 3 yrs later the drivers side one (power fold) folds out way past where it should stop. I have to fold it in the back out and stop it where I want it with my hand. There's also a lot of play with the hinge when its stopped.  So something is obviously broken in there Im just wondering if any of you have run into this issue with aftermarket or OEM mirrors. I cant reach out to the company as it looks like a chinese co. that has no contact and I really don't wanna order another pair. 

Does anyone have pictures of the mirror hinge with all the plastic stripped off so maybe I can see how they work?
