KARNUT
Just read an interesting article about Toyota getting into the small truck game in the US. Ok GM where’s the beef? These little trucks could get me interested in new again. I say it’s about time.
Snowcamo
Gm does not listen. If they did they would of brought back the Blazer, Chevelle, widened the silverado wheel wells and Crushed the entire market! Seriously.... Crushed. When I bought my 2014 retirement GMC I actually was eyeing a Canyon. I didn’t get one because it was more money than for the equally equipped 1/2 ton. Ultimately disappointed in my 14 I now have my Avalanche. I knew when the Maverick was introduced it would kick off a new trend. When all the players get involved the test driving starts. OnTheReel
I know they won’t but GM, Toyota or Ram could sell me a Maverick sized truck with crank windows and a stick today. Would be a perfect little work truck. And would end my impossible search of a clean S10 or first gen Colorado.

The boxy nod to the full sized trucks rather than looking like a cutaway SUV makes it palatable to us diehard pickup owners. My wife is determined to put me into a SUV we can both share and I'm hoping we can compromise with a mini truck. My chances would be better if there was a greater selection! My wife can’t drive my avalanche or any full size truck. It’s not a problem now because we have the odyssey. I’ll never have just one vehicle. When it comes to having two my wife needs to be able to drive both. The price point is perfect. The maverick type vehicles satisfy the truck part for me and my wife can drive it. Put on a topper or bed cover you have a suv.
