Dealer hooked up to computer and says to replace TC and valve body, but if I do am I just kicking the can down the road, and I'll end up changing the whole tranny in another 5-6k miles? DrDingus Posted August 2, 2023 Share Posted August 2, 2023 My 10 speed got stuck in 3rd after shuddering weird when maneuvering in my driveway and they ended up having to replace the valve body under warranty. I'm out of warrantee, just under 70K. But I've had both lifter banks done along with the cam, leaking rear window, Trailer electical issues, AC compressor, and now the tranny. Dealer is stepping up, but it may be time to switch to a HD. Funny is my 2018 silverado had no issues until it was T-boned and totaled at 68K. Luck of the draw.
