Guys this was easy and sounds pretty good just did a 2k plus towing trip and ZERO on the drone and quite frankly in the cab on the road I notice nothing at all from stock.

Check it out.                 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-vGafJPfxU&t=10s

I still remain perplexed how people can spend a fortune on exhaust when going to a bender and replacing a muffler is so much cheaper. Some even say that open exhaust by some brands mask the cylinder deactivation sounds. I remain skeptical. I saw that  on motor trend that single exhaust open actually makes more power than dual. Who knew. Early on I ran two with a y out one muffler for fake duals. I like the look. Later just one with a louder muffler. My last new truck I did a muffler delete and bought a hypertec turning off the cylinder deactivation. The total cost was 450$, mostly for the tuner. That came with other benefits. Now days if I was forced to buy a new truck. I wouldn’t touch it, too many eyes.

Remain perplexed.  Some of us don't mind spending money on a quality catback setup. I have a Corsa Sport catback with quad tips on my 23 High Country 6.2.  Sounds badass , especially the cold start  Sounds like a Vette. Zero drone.

I've had muffler shop setups in the past. None have sounded this good and they all drone.

This ain't 1990.

That’s funny and condescending. All my exhaust has sounded good. The ones that droned did at certain RPMs never at cruising RPMs. I simply shifted around it. It depended on the rear end gear. All my exhaust was the same material as mail order. Some people are hung on labels rather than results. 1990, I’ve had dozens done since then. Unless you have true duals they all drone at certain RPMs, especially with cylinder deactivation. Nature of the beast.

And you're driving a 20 year old avalanch. You're the expert.

I have wonder why you're even on here sometimes

It’s one of 4 vehicles I own. I drive it because I want to. I have more trucks and equipment experience than most. I will not be enslaved to the whims of the latest GM experiments, been there done that. 2000-2006 were the best trucks from GM. That where I’ll stay. My last new GM before I retired at 58, was a big disappointment. So far not much improvement. I like my avalanche will probably buy another when I find a clean one like mine. It has it purpose like my other vehicles. Enjoy your mail order exhaust, I preferred custom built to my specifications.

Zero drone at any and all RPM's towing or empty over the river and through the woods, even all the way to Grandmas house.

We just dis a 2k trip and no radio or anything ever plays but the AC.

Anyway to each their own, I got this because I wanted to have it and I can afford it and it is guaranteed no drone as that is part of their selling point, if you like your pipe bender that is awesome and I have had  Mach One Muffler up here in  the Northwest do more exhausts and mufflers than I could ever count as I run a used car dealership as well as many other ventures.

I can unbolt this and put the stocker back on easily enough and quite honestly was it worth it as a financial perspective, I say no  not for me but I would not know of I did not try and it is advertised to give more power on the dyno by Corsa  so .................

I also am putting on a CAI soon as I bought one on here from a guy awhile back so maybe with the 2 combined I will get my extra ponies without warranty issues if anything happens, and I LIKE extra ponies in all my cars.

Sounds GREAT though!

Thanks for any and all input from everyone.

Some of my exhaust mods were a y before the muffler with a side exhaust and a caped flange. So I could cap it for trips. Then after the muffler another y to run duals because I like the look. I’ve had a couple with super trapp mufflers as tail pipes no other mufflers. I’ve done a few with quads off of headers. Glass packs with side exhaust that could be capped. And out the back with quieter mufflers for trips. My bender was very talented. Did custom made to order jobs for the local dealers. He made special stacks for my brothers little red express truck. I’ve used him for 40 years. He recently sold his business and retired. Only to build a shop off by his house to flip trucks and by appointment work. Maybe I’m just spoiled by a one of a kind exhaust talent.

If your drivers side cross over pipe is one piece part number (16SE4554). It will hit the top of the rear end. Corsa has a two piece cross over pipe that connects in the middle behind the heat shield for the spare tire part number’s (16SE4582) and (16SE4583). I had to verified I had the correct head pipe since it didn’t match the parts list. In doing so I found the up to date parts list online. When I questioned if everything was correct otherwise I was told yes. Even thou the drivers side was now a two piece design. After install I called to question the clearance and was told it would be good. The new two piece design covered the max tow package with the bigger rear end and not to worry. My truck doesn’t have the max tow package but the exhaust hit the rear end under movement. Causing damage to the harness over the rear end.  It took multiple calls to get the correct drivers side pipes sent out. When calling Corsa it was confusion on their end. Verifying what I needed wasn’t bad but getting the parts was another story. After a week I called again since I had not received the parts. Told it would be overnighted originally. They had zero idea who I was and no order of the correct pipes under my name. Was told the order was in but still nothing a week later. Wasn’t until the third time I called that I got the correct parts. Ended up fixing the harness myself since Corsa wouldn’t take responsibility. Basically if you don’t buy from them and you use a vendor they can’t guarantee you will get the most recent exhaust. The Corsa exhaust sounds good but this last experience will probably be my last kit from them. For the price I would expect a higher level of knowledge when calling in to verify parts in the kit and changes over the run of production on the truck.

Interesting as I have no issues in the clearance dept that I know of and I will go crawl under and double check everything again.

Thanks for the heads up!

All seemed good unloaded but with people and cargo is when it hit. Might be good if it’s a Trail Boss or AT4 but stock 4x4 mine hit.
