I actually really like the string of threads I've been seeing from you. Your titles and posts in general ooze so much personality. You are making active conversations on the forum and it's clear you genuinely want to share things about GM-Trucks (and anything really) with the community here. I really admire that! Anyway, with regards to this thread, I park in the back at work in the farthest row along the edge of the parking lot. It's Friday and a lot of people were off, so there wasn't really anyone parking back there. I went out for a walk on my lunch break and walked by the truck to find that someone had parked literally right next to me. I thought it was hilarious, lol.

I'm also one to park at the farthest end of any parking lot, I hate door dings and have been doing it for years. I even look for stray grocery carts that might get loose so with this giant truck it's not a big deal for me to park away from everyone. BUT, I've noticed about 50% of the time there will be "that" person who will go out of their way to park right next to me. Typically my head spins around approx. 3 times and green stuff starts shooting out of my mouth when I see that but lately I'm like.....you got me.....little bastard....you got me....jokes on me...lol... KARNUT
In the piss me off section. I was about to get gas in this normally busy station yesterday after church. Usually there’s one open, not this time. So I get behind an Escalade with no activity going on, like pumping gas. After a few minutes two people come out get in the passenger side. About a minute later one to the back driver side. About 30 seconds later it started and drove away. All the while there’s was an empty space in front of the store, in front of the Escalade. The passengers walked right by it. No common curiosity anymore. The whole time my wife is cautioning me to cool my jets. I wonder why? 1

A local Marathon station recently turned bar/grill/casino on a lot the size of a postage stamp totally revamped their driveway into a one-way circle to accommodate parking. Actually, they did a very nice job. Gas and a pretty good burger. Thing is every time I go there someone has entered the wrong direction and pulled to the most rear pump blocking all access. Yea, right over the HUGE yellow arrows painted on the pavement. Owner was good enough to make about a dozen motorcycle spots under the station sign which of course some knot head parks his DCLB sideways over half of them. In another place, a Beef-a-Roo parking lot there is like one tree of shade in the entire lot and depending on what time of the day it is perhaps up to three parking spots may have some shade for perhaps twenty minutes. Some people still drive through and dine in the parking lot. Well...yesterday and minivan first parks diagonally across two of the three and past the lot halfway into the grass. He's blocking the exit so a line is waiting on him. He is oblivious. He sits there a few minutes and perhaps notices the line. Backs up and parks parallel style across all three. Same lot a Canada goose pair have built a nest in the grassy area of a small divisional median and have been sitting eggs for a few weeks now. Quite the attraction. Regulars check in often waiting for the hatchlings to appear. Some jackfruit runs her off the nest and smashes her eggs! There is a whole lot of 'self-absorbed' going on.

We visit my brother in law in Louisiana when in route to visit the father in law. There’s a body of water entering his subdivision where the neighborhoods pet resides. It would be entertaining to see those individuals mess with it. 1

We sold our home about a year and a half ago because we knew it had peaked in price and did not want to retire in Atlanta and then take the chance of it hitting the skids value wise if we held onto it. So these days we are hanging out in an apartment complex while I finish out my time at Delta, quite nice actually, stupid expensive but really nice. Anyhow while driving slowly after entering our complex, being responsible of course, I get passed in our complex....swear to God it has happened dozens of times. My favorite saying for those that do that....ain't got no time for this....lol....

I often see these days that was once called respect for others including anything else that was alive, is quickly fading away. Maybe it's because I'm getting older and have more respect. But after just saying that I was brought up with respect. My dad was State Patrol....yeah....I got away with nothing... but I was taught respect and brought my son up the same way. People these days.... my favorite saying once again comes out....ain't got no time for that....
OnTheReel
Speaking of gas stations. Theres usually a dozen gas pumps, but only a few that also dispense diesel. Always drove me up a wall when gas cars were blocking them when other pumps were open. Don’t have a diesel anymore, but now I blend E85 and it’s a similar story. That E85 pump is always blocked by people who aren't even getting gas at all. Just sitting in their cars. Must be a fun place to hang out.

OnTheReel
I got some more. What about all these people who have a low beam burned out? Instead of fixing it, they just run their brights 24/7 to avoid getting pulled over. Widespread problem driving in the city. And they never get pulled over for blinding everyone with their high beams, of course. And on the topic of lights…remember when you could just simply replace a burned out bulb? Not the case on most new cars now. A 10 cent bulb gave way to $1200 headlight assemblies. I like my fancy headlights but c’mon. At least give us a little serviceability. Somehow. 1
