The animation limitation is tail lamps only.  The headlights will still animate but the tail lamps will be the MY20 to MY23.  There is no plan to retrofit.

Sorry to beat a dead horse here.  I understand there is no plan for Chevy to retrofit, however if I still wanted to add them on later myself is that something that would just require the lights? or is the supplier issue with a computer somewhere? etc?

I don't know all the details.  I know the lamp and harness are different.  There maybe a software change as well.

I've got the same issue with mine thats a month old. I took a video of it happening. Got an appointment at the dealer and the issue is not happening and they can't reproduce it. Happened again last night for the 6th time. Happening about every other day so far work the last two weeks.

Video it on your phone.

For those having the turn signal issue, where was the truck built? Ours if a Flint MI build. Curious if we can maybe isolate to a part at one plant or just BCM (or whatever module it would be) fault/programming.

Flint on March 13. Had it happen a second time while trailering but it fixed itself while driving. 😕

Mine was March 17 in Flint. 107528 is the last six of the VIN. How close is yours to mine?

2 new headlights fixed my turn signal issues. it has been about 7-8 weeks now so iam convinced the T/S's are fixed but now my dealer is working on another issue with the new right headlight. when the headlights or parking lights are turned on the right DRL blinks and again this is a intermittent problem just like the T/S's were. The dealer opened a TAC case and under TAC's instruction they updated the lighting module with the latest software but that didn't fix it so TAC said replace the right headlight again. they are on backorder until mid to end of September.. but now the possible strike issue.....so iam waiting for the new light and hoping the T/S's work in that one, along with the DRL. mine was built in flint 3/21/23. vin #110259

Is anybody with a 24 LTZ or High Country having any issues with their turn signals? Mine started intermittently acting up within the first 100 miles. The left one was first and a few weeks later he right one did it a few times.. They flash normal for 3 flashes and then the front one goes out. The rear and the mirror still operate but flash fast, like a older vehicle when one burns out. Also get the service front turn signal lamp on the DIC. Each side has done it twice. Shut the truck off come back out later start it up and its fine  and may be fine for a few weeks then out of the blue one of the does it again. I see it is happening to other guys also on various 2024 pages. Just was wondering if anybody here had a similar issue. It is going in Tuesday for the dealer to look at that and a leaking steering box.

I have had my truck since April. Every time I bring it into the dealership they say they can't duplicate it even though I have physically showed them it when I pull in. It is just one of several problems I have had I with the truck already. I thought of just buying the replacements for the lights but they are 1300 bucks each. @GMCustomerService
