Francis Alvare
I have had issues since I bought the truck (used) in 2017 with the air vent controls. The buttons for where the air comes out have never worked properly. Every time I turn the truck on those buttons correspond to a different vent output and it seems totally random. It's not even like they correspond to a different vent selection, it is truly different every time. Sometimes pushing multiple buttons doesn't even change where the air comes out. The dealership told me years ago that they would have to replace the ventilation control system altogether. Has anyone experienced this/have ideas on how to fix it? rav3
I think the dealer may be correct on this. It's a complex system now & you usually needs to be programed if replaced. This video may help you understand the system better. Eric on this video is very sharp guy.
Francis Alvare
Yeah watching that video, the module that controls my buttons seems to be failed. The dealership said it would cost thousands to fix. Does anyone know what the module is called that the buttons interface through? And where I can buy a replacement?
