2017 silver and Replace ball joint of lower control arm

So I am having trouble looking for basically any information for my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Can I replace the lower ball joints on my stock lower control arms? Or do I need to buy all new control arms with ball joints already installed. I know you have to with the uppers.
