Mike Manning
I have a 2014 Silverado with the 5.3. I let it sit for few months and the battery died. Upon jumping the battery the horn keeps beeping, high beams are stuck on, hazards are flashing, wipers going, washer fluid is spraying. On the dash the tow light is on, says e brake is on but it isn’t. The key fop is unresponsive and the interior door luck button does not work. All the while the truck starts and drives fine. No bad wires can be seen and a new battery was put in to rule out the dead one. Any insights?
swathdiver
You may need to charge up the new battery to full and manually clear all the codes. You really need to get a bi-directional scan tool on it and see what's going on with the BCM. The battery was low even after jumping and that's probably why all the stuff went haywire. You may have damaged the BCM or other modules with the jump.
