Ordered a 24 HD/LT April 29th. MN Dealer said it was built in June. Still sitting in Canada!!!  They have tried to sell me other trucks. Ones that have come in and people got tired of waiting for and went else were. Usually High Country's in the $80's. Dont want a HC. Last one took 9 mo to get to dealer.

Something sounds wrong with your order; I ordered a 3500 CC LT long bed in June (tried to order in April) and just picked it up. I waited for the lakeshore blue - late availability, and a time constraint on the long bed. Are you Shure the dealer has allocation?

Sales guy called today to let me know that the 24 AT4 HD that I ordered 10/5/23 has been built, 4200 event code. I’m still hunting for the rest of the week then time to get all of the stuff out of my 2018 GMC 1500 SLE. I have Chevy wheels with Hakkapeliitta LT3 snow tires on my truck and will need to put the stock GMC wheels on it before I trade it. It kinda sucks that I only have one summer on my summer tires, Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.

I wouldn't get in too big of a hurry as I've found it can take almost a month for delivery after it's been built. At least out here in this part of the US, maybe your area will be quicker.

What is everyone paying now in relation to MSRP on factory orders? Does Costco Auto program give preferential pricing in addition to the $1000 rebate?

8% below msrp and no crazy backdoor charges.

Yes sir, how's it treating you?

2500 Miles already, she’s in for some warranty work right now. Driver side rear marker light in the fender has water in it and there was lost communication with 2 brake mondules on the driver side rear. And while she’s there she’s going to get her first oil change. Other than those little hiccups it’s a wonderful truck. Find my self taking it more than our other vehicles on road trips

The dang little things always want to hold us up.....

I am at 4500 so far and definitely like taking it over any other vehicle, just so comfortable and the fuel mileage is crazy good for this size truck 17 around town( country town) and 20+ on the hwy.

We are enjoying it for sure, have you put anything heavy behind it yet?

Most for me 6k camper 16mpg on the hwy.

Still looking to get 5th wheel soon

There is a bit more dealing off msrp finally happening but trade values have dropped much more than 8% in even the last 12-18mo. And most people do have a trade to bring to the table so in that situation, people are going to pay one way or another.

I bought my truck for 1k under msrp only but my trade was outrageously high compared to its value now. We got 32k on a vehicle we bought over 2 years previously for 36. Not a truck either, a Kia,  not exactly known for stellar resale. That same vehicle is sitting at 21k trade right now.

There was a sweet spot for insane resale trades and if you found a dealer not doing markups, it worked out well.

Yeah no trade for me, totaled my 2018 1500 couple years back got 4k more than paid for new (when vehicles were hot) so it worked out well for especially seeing how dealers near me were adding 5k to msrp

Mines about 15-17 around town and 18-20+ on highway. Came back from getting truck undercoated yesterday before taking it to the dealer I averaged 22.5 over 95 miles doing 60-70 mph. It’s had about 4k behind her so far with the 4 wheeler and hunting gear, and some yard debris.  They are still working on trying to get me my actual Ohio plate. I’m still rockin the Florida temp tag

Yes, we snuck into that short window nicely - made a nice few bucks off our 21 Tahoe (more than we paid brand new 3 years ago) on trade-in and also get employee pricing (came to about 10% off MSRP) with no dealer bs, so basically got to swap the two with no money lost despite the truck MSRP being quite a bit higher. But I suspect if we had waited even a few weeks that profit on the Tahoe would’ve disappeared. Dealer had to drop the price on it several times and it sat 2.5 months on their used lot. Now the used ‘21 Tahoes at the dealer close to me are listed about $8000 less than what similar trims/mileage were just since end of August when we made our trade.

When it gets here it gets here. Dealer thinks it will be here at the end of December.
