21 Elevation 5.3 slight tick at idle

Only have 13k miles on my 5.3 and at idle I hear a slight click/tick from what sounds like the oil pan area. It’s definitely the bottom rear of the motor. It ticks about every second like a clock. Anybody have any knowledge of this? Thanks,

That is normal. High pressure fuel pump. There is a TSB explaining this. TSB 14-06-04-004E.

My 2019 TB 5.3 purchased new has done this right off the dealers lot,after operating temp seems to go away.the noise sounds revolution like every rotation sounds the same!

High pressure fuel pump for the direct injection. It’s actually sound deadened quite a bit.

Normal, mine has done this since new.  Its well over 100K miles now.
