Has anyone installed any on the disableers on the 2023 silverados yet and if so how are they holding up.

There are none available that work with the 22 Refresh and up trucks.  The new trucks have a different computer architecture which GM calls Global B.  The system is encrypted with a key tied to your particular ECM.  Trifecta Performance has apparently unlocked one of them, but doesn't list it as an available service yet.  I have a feeling it is going to take a while.

I emailed Trifecta this morning to see if it is something they will be offering, and got a reply.

"Our market research suggests the price point would be higher than customers would be willing to pay for a standard performance calibration like you’re describing."  I asked about AFM/DFM disabling and a tune over stock.  Basically the cost per ECU in time to unlock it is thousands of dollars to get it done.

So doesn’t deal exactly with your question but with the pulsar. I keep throwing a check engine code “P0711”  trans temp sensor, which is a problem the dealers know about, my issue becomes when I remove my pulsar to take the truck in it clears the codes and they cannot replicate. Has anyone else had this issue?

No. Mine is a 2019 5.3 8spd. No issues with the Pulsar. One time after about a week the truck went goofy and acted like it didn’t recognize the FOB. Wouldn’t start. I panicked and unplugged the Pulsar and it started. Got home and plugged it back in and has worked flawlessly. I hadn’t owned the truck long so I’m not sure if I did something screwy…..

Question for bikerjon, what can't you stand about your DFM? I can'f even tell when mine is working. I  was using the Range on my 21 5.3 when I had a lifter failure. I am no longer using the Range as I feal it has no benefit and lowers the fuel mileage.

Cant stand DFM. I definitely can feel and hear when DFM engages especially now that I have piped the exhaust. I bought my truck with a 5.3L V-8 and I want it to run on all 8 cylinders ALL THE TIME! As far as gas mileage. If  I wanted good gas mileage I could buy a foreign car or an electric car or ride a bicycle or just walk everywhere I go. The minute Range Technology comes out with a DFM disabler I will have one.

Very sorry to hear about your lifter failure but I don't lose any sleep worrying about sh*t like that. I just drive my truck ride my bike and live my life.
