The receiver bolts on using the rear bolts of the tow hooks and existing holes on the bottom of the frame. No modification needed.

I went out the trashcan and took a picture, before I realized I bought them from amazon.

Yeah, I think it has to due to it not being a factory part. Either that or big A doesn't know a real work truck needs greased.

For our 2021 GMC 2500HD, it appears only Draw-Tite and Torklift offer front receivers.  We have the off-road package on our truck.  For anyone who has installed the Draw-Tite on their 2020+ trucks, do you need to remove the skid plate to install the hitch?    Thanks

I installed the Draw-Tite hitch on my 2022 GMC 3500HD.  Did not have to remove the skid plate. Installation was straightforward but I could have used a helping hand to hold it in place while I got the fasteners started. The only  modification to the truck was a very slight (< 1/4") trimming of the truck's chin air dam above the receiver tube.

Thanks Steve.  Appreciate your quick response.  Our truck is an SLE model, so perhaps no trimming, but I like that it would be higher up closer to the bumper.  The front receiver on our 2015 3500 was lower and could hit the street, coming out of our driveway.
