2020 Silverado 1500 front brake caliper

I have a 2020 silverado  1500 LT 4wd with 5.3 engine. I am trying to determine what brake caliper size they put on these trucks? I was told I couldn't fit a 18 inch rim if it had the 6 piston calipers but I'm not sure what caliper I have.

I believe they are 2 piston calipers, I have never heard of a "6 piston caliper" 

You may want to find a more knowledgeable seller to buy your wheels from.

The offset is different on the 2019 up trucks because of a larger caliper. Thats why the previous generation truck rims hit on the front. Its not a 6 piston caliper. Need specific 2019 and up rim. There is a BB kits and option from GM .

Only a 2 piston brake caliper on these trucks. GM made the outside of the caliper thicker in this area (red) and added a ridge (orange) that the older wheels will rub on if no spacer is used.

From the factory using factory wheels, the stock 4 piston brakes (see above picture) accept a 17 inch wheel as the smallest.

 

The GM Big brake kit is a 6 piston kit and 20 inch wheel is the smallest.

 

Older OEM wheels won't fit without spacers.  See the above post from Seamus.

 

Aftermarket wheels you have to keep an eye out on the offsets.

The 6 pistons are when you get the Performance brake option, with Brembo brakes. I have them on my 2020 Denali, with factory 22” rims .
