amsoil signature 0w20 DEXOS1 GEN 3

so I just receive my amsoil, it is not dexos licensed but on the back says dexos 1 gen 3 , I cant wait to dump it in my gmc ...  USING  Fram xg10575 filteR

I think the first thing you will notice is the motor will be quieter, that's been my experience with Amsoil.

That's with every oil change and any oil. I always hear a nice difference after the initial start with an oil change. I would hope one would notice a quieter sounding engine, my wife does...

 

And this thread couldn't have been posted in the other Amsoil 0w20 oil thread you started with just an update; it needs its own thread?

Just curious, what engine do you have that requires 0w-20? I have a 21' 5.3l and it calls for 5w-20.

Your truck takes 0w20, not 5w20.  All the Gen V V8 truck engines from 2014-current use 0w20.

No 2021 uses 5W-20..

6.2L  0w20  im sure 5w20 is ok even 5w30 is ok to run, only reason gm go thin is toga better MPG,  corvette 6.2 take 0w40 , my ram ask for 5w20 and I run 0w40 in it and that hemi love that oil.

I haven't used Amsoil or changed my oil myself in at least 15yrs, but back then Amsoil synthetic was a 25,000 mile oil. Now I see they have a couple different levels of each grade but I dont' see any mileage claims for any of them. Even Mobile 1 is making mileage claims on their oils. So, how many miles is Amsoil good for nowadays?

signature is good for 25k, I would never go that far with any oil.

Ok, I just looked again. I see:

 

Signature = 25,000mls (this is what I used to use)

XL = 12,000mls

OE = I guess whatever your manual calls for?
