2024 GM HD production

Saw an article on GM Authority that says 2024 HD production is slated for February 2023.  Seems overly optimistic to me.  My dealer hasn’t heard a word and is quite skeptical on this timing as they are a still trying to get new 22 and 23’s in.  Anyone hear anything about 24 production?  I would consider trading my 2023 in for a 24 because of the interior upgrades and the 10 speed but hell it may be a year before we see one.  When I bought it back in October I figured it would be at least a year before they might show up, so I pulled the trigger on the 23 as I had already waited a year.

2024 HD starts production February 27th 2023.  Ordering starts middle to end of January 2023.  

 

The times are flexible, but this is where they stand as of November.

That's consistent with what I have been told.  Funny thing is the order bank for the 2023 Silverado medium duty trucks closes a month before production actually begins!

The first saleable units were produced last week. These will go through extensive validation and likely be shipped in January. 

No word on the full scale change over. 

I would hazard a guess that unless an ordered 2023 has a confirmed build window it likely wont be built.

Regular production supposed to start 01/03/2023.  No word on when they will take 2024 medium duty orders.  I hear there will be a number of changes for 2024.

What I'm wondering is due to the upgraded infotainment system and the new 10 speed being used on the gassers is how much of a premium is GM going to want for those (basically huge upgrades) in my opinion?  I would love the upgraded infotainment system but can do without the 10 speed auto on the gas.  I love my 6 speed.  I don't think this will be a small increase in price, but I could be wrong.
