I'm confused.

You saying some of the current lower trims have an adjustment for how it works it but the higher trims don't?

No. Exactly the opposite. The feature seems to be available in the highest trims - the ones with the least chance of noise infiltration due to how they're built. So, the ones that don't benefit from it are the ones that have it.

No adjustment for it on my '23 Denali --- at least that I can find.

Otoh, I've never felt the need to change it --- at least on this truck.

In the past, if had vehicles with adjustment for it available (of, low, med high, iirc) and had problems finding a setting I was happy with.

I've seldom found one that actually worked terribly well. My understanding is that on the refresh trucks, it's only in the ones with the upgraded Bose and the setting is called "Bose AudioPilot" (which would be available from within the audio option like when you're playing the radio and tap the little gear / note icon in the upper right.

For the Sierra's, I believe it only exists on the Denali Ultimate and AT4 trims.

FWIW... I had to create a driver profile in my truck just to unlock the option to set the startup volume limiter (in case you leave the volume up too high when you turn the truck off). This setting is tied to a PERSON instead of having a value tied to the vehicle as a default. GM is the absolute stupidest company out there when it comes to developing software. It's like they've never owned a vehicle...

Thanks!

Didn't recall that they called it AudioPilot (or that it's part of AudioPilot??)

Also explains why a Denali doesn't have an setting to play with.

Although for some reason I still don't feel like I need to change the way it works.

I won't be getting an Ultimate because it forces 22" wheels, the 5.8" box and a moon roof.

.
