Last warranty visit

Recommended Posts

So my bumper to bumper ends in March. Taking my Denali in next week to look at the rear window, which is leaking again -had it done earlier this year and seemed good until now. I want to get done now just in case they don’t get it this time. The PS power running board button won’t work to extend.

I still love this truck!

I'm in the same boat, warranty has 4k more miles (though I do have an extended warranty, I am not sure it covers stuff like window leaks). Had my window replaced yesterday and a front shock assembly a couple weeks before. If your window frame is not cracked, you may be better off following the tutorial on here for how to seal the window. Probably last longer.

I had a 2015 before this one and never had a problem. I’ll ask about the replacement option. Thanks!

When I had mine done it didn't take any effort to get a window replacement versus the seam sealer fix. The determining variable, I believe, is that I was able to point out a crack in the plastic window frame. Look at yours and see if you can find one!

**After reading more, I think you will be good for a replacement based on it being their second attempt. The TSB does mention first is sealer, second replacement. Disregard my above, my scenario was different than yours.

So I brought it in to my dealer and they called me later and said the frame had cracking everywhere, so they are putting in new one -and they have it in stock. They also confirmed a bad button on the rear of of the automatic running board on the PS side-not in stock, but they are getting one from another dealer, so should have it all done today. I’ll update when done .
