Not that I know of.  However, on the 2.7 motor you must remove the transmission cooler lines to replace the starter motor so that might be what your thinking of?  Any other questions please DM me or start a new thread, I don't mean to detract from the OP's thread.

IMO something more annoying would be that if i need to move the truck even an inch i have to get buckled up or it wont shift out of park.

Unless there is a way to turn this safety feature off that i dont know about?

I don't wear a belt, so this hack might not be worthwhile having to insert/remove/store.

Go to your local dealer and ask for a seatbelt extender. They are free/no charge from gm. Cut webbing off and trash it. You are left with the male end that never needs to be removed. 20210705_075429.thumb.jpg.792d9fed9ef840afdbaffa23fe6ca60b.jpg

You can absolutely turn it off. It’s in the settings. Look at your manual. It’s not difficult at all to find

the older i get the more this looks like a mistake, Lady Luck doesn't seem to be riding with me as much as I like these days. and the KIds on the road drive ridiculously, no one stops at intersections with stop signs.

i seen too many crash scenes where people got t-boned on passenger side, only to get ejected out the drivers window, getting head smacked on the street and launched 200 feet from car usually isnt a walkaway and dust off event! permanent damage!

My father always rebelled against any kind of control. Especially mandated by the government. My back problems are directly related to not wearing a seatbelt in my clearing machine. When I tore up my knee I braced myself with my left leg instead of my right. Tore my back up. It stayed tore up to this day.  The seat belt would have taken the sudden stops. Only sissy’s wear seatbelts. The old man would say. One day I hopped  in his truck instead of his belt behind him he was wearing it. He said fasten it up. He saw a program where a kids were involved in a minor accident. The only one who walk away was wearing a seatbelt.

This hold so much truth, back in the 80"s wearing seat-belts was not cool. Fast forward to 2022, driving is aggressive, flip someone off you might find yourself with someone following you home or worst. A recent co-worker of 5+ years ejected from his car not wearing seat-belt and died on the scene. Buckle up folks!

Nope.  All 4 engines the starter is outside.  One or two heat shields, possibly remove the wheel liner to access all the bolts easiest.
