Where is the subwoofer in a '22 Denali

Could it be under the dash?

It would have to be tucked up under and behind the radio, which I doubt. I've been inside both lower sides of the dash and there isn't one there, nor room for it.

I just picked up my Denali, and man do I miss my old SLT stereo.  The new one has the Bose Premium Sound, but it lacks the bass of my '19 SLT.  Where is the subwoofer located for the '22?

I think the biggest loss in the 22+ infotainment is the lack of HD Radio, the sound quality had higher fidelity and richer bass due to the digital signal versus the analog signal. Plus there were more radio stations in HD.

I don't even have an antenna on my truck. I only listen to Sirius and use the iHeart Radio app to listen to the local morning talk show.

You have a radio right mjones? Then you have an antenna. It's built into the satellite antenna on the roof.

No it isn't. The terrestrial radio antenna is on the cowl on the passenger side.

OK but you have antenna.

Just the Sirius antenna in the shark fin on the top of the truck. I do not have a terrestrial radio antenna. Excuse me for not being more specific for your liking.

Well... now that it is brought up when you made the statement of not having an antenna, did it not come with one when purchased or did you remove the antenna for appearance's purpose?

I took it off before I left the dealer. I knew it would hit my garage door opening when pulling in and for looks. Since I never use the terrestrial radio, I had no need for it. I've taken it off the last 5 trucks I've had.

Not to get off topic, but I don't understand why GM doesn't put the terrestrial antenna in the shark fin. My wife's 2020 Equinox only had the shark fin antenna on top. The terrestrial radio antenna is in it.

People still listen to the regular radio? With IHeartRadio, Pandora, Amazon music my radio is just a sound system. My phone is my radio. Before that I used my iPods. Before that CDs, cassettes, 8 tracks. I belonged to a music clubs. I hated those DJs.

I don't. I always think it is funny when I get into a family members car and they have it on a local FM radio station. I have the music apps I need installed in the infotainment system of the truck (Youtube Music, iHeart) along with Sirius.

I'm old school, I still utilize the FM radio to hear local events. Sure, I use Android Auto and built-in apps and I know there's an app for most, it's just quicker for me on short commutes.

I use iHeartRadio for that. My local AM, Michael Barry show with local news. That way when I get out to walk I pop the buds in. When he gets to rambling I can switch to Amazon prime or Pandora.

No contest on that, once the rambling and garbage starts I switch to apps but that's when I commute on longer trips.
