Drain hole in top of tailgate?

Look at all this water trying to get into my tailgate and ruin my switch! Luckily I slathered silicone into the holes. Hahaha

maybe I’ll throw a few minnows in there and fashion a rod out of a pencil or something. Could be fun lol

It's snowing here again, too cold for fishing. I could put on tiny ice skates and have a blast.

I’ve had issues with my ‘24 HD2500 tailgate twice in 6 months I’ve owned it. Button quit working and goes up and down by itself. My local dealer fixed it the first time. Second time they couldn’t get me in for a week and it was drawing power from my battery. Found the replacement part- 5 minute fix and added waterproof electrical tape around the entire device and we will see what happens. The holes in top of tailgate I didn’t fill yet but that could be next. I ordered extra switches since they were cheap. Time will tell
