Thanks for sharing this! I can't believe they placed that braided ground strap directly behind the front wheel like that. They should have mounted it higher up on the frame behind the fender well liner to protect it at least. The strap on our garage-kept '21 is looking just fine, but I just coated it with Fluid Film as a preventative measure.

My 2019 Yukon had a plethora of electrical issues that MAY have been related to a similar ground in relatively the same location, however it's a standard stranded wire with insulation from the factory rather than a braided wire.

Had ground strap on 2019 RST fail no power steering cost over 300 dollars to fix after Dealer said it should be covered only 20000 thousand miles
