Diamond Brite metal polish

I recently used this product from Better-Built and was very impressed with the results. I have a set of the polished GMC wheels that I bought from another member which were stained from some stuff the tire store used to clean tires. I tried the Eagle 1 polish (saturated wadding) with minimal results. Then I found this Diamond Brite and decided to give it a try. Man, am I glad I did...this stuff worked great!

 

It's a liquid that doesn't require a lot of effort to apply, but really leaves the metal clean and shiny. It easily removed some really ugly stains that nothing else could get rid of. You just apply with gentle rubbing until the residue begins to turn black, then let it dry for a few minutes; wipe off and buff lightly for a shiny finish.

Hey Tarheelz,

 

Did you use it on the coated O.E.M wheels? The website states to use it on non-coated metals?

 

If so, did it remove any of the clear coat?

You can get it at Lowe's. They carry BetterBuilt stuff. I've seen it before and wondered if it was any good. Guess I'll have to give it a try. Chris
