How does this sound

When the $ is available, here's what I'm planning.

 

Does it sound good? Any recommendations are helpful.

 

Most everything will be from Summit:

-Engine Rebuild Kit w/ Pistons @ 9.35:1 CR - $210

- Summit Cam Kit - 214/224 - $80

Pushrod Set $30

- Edelbrock Performer Heads - $980

- Summit HEI distributor set - $149

$1449

Add the extras like Oil Pan, timing chain, water pump, fuel pump, etc

Total $1700 + block resurfacing.

 

I should be able to re-use my crank, rods, Edelbrock performer intake & carb. I was going to go w/ the performer cam but I want something a little more agressive than the 204/214 that Edelbrock offers. Though, it is part of the performer package I would have too, so I'm torn. Any suggestions?

 

Without dyno-tuning, what could/should I expect for power numbers w/ that configuration. My guestimate would be around 350hp/350ftlbs of torque.
